September 28, 2012 - The Hillsdale College women's cross country team took 10th as a team at the 57th Notre Dame Invitational Friday afternoon in South Bend, Indiana.
Most of Hillsdale's runners showed improvement over their times from the season opener two weeks ago. Three runners broke 19 minutes on the Fighting Irish course, led by junior Victoria McCaffrey.
McCaffrey was Hillsdale's top runner, taking 22nd overall with a time of 18:12. Freshman Emily Oren wasn't far behind, placing 27th at 18:17. Fellow freshman Kristina Galat also broke the 19-minute barrier, taking 46th overall with a time of 18:42.
