The Hillsdale College softball team lost its last two games of the 2019 regular season in Ohio Sunday afternoon.
Up next is the conference tournament.
The Chargers lost games by scores of 5-4 and 6-1 to the University of Findlay to end the regular season with a 19-26 overall record. Hillsdale enters next week's G-MAC tournament with a conference record of 13-11. It's first-round opponent has yet to be determined.
The Chargers outhit the Oilers 12-9 in the first game, led by a huge performance from junior Victoria Addis. She went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double and scored two runs. She was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle.
Hillsdale led 1-0, but Findlay scored twice in the third and fourth innings to take the lead.
Natalie Stepanenko drove in the team's only run of the second game. She went 2-for-3 and was the only player on the team with a multi-hit game in the game two loss.
