Freshman Gabe Katz advanced two rounds in the tournament before losing a three-set decision to Missouri-St. Louis. Katz earned wins over foes from Grand Valley State, Wayne State and FIndlay.

Sophomore Michael Szabo also won three rounds in the B Draw Consolation, and lost in a 10-7 third-set tiebreaker to Andrew Dones of Southern Indiana.
