G-MAC Standings

G-MAC Statistics

  • Both the Chargers and Greyhounds clinched their conference regular season championships last week...Hillsdale won its first-ever G-MAC title with a 48-26 win over previously unbeaten Tiffin, while UIndy defeated Truman 31-7 to wrap up its sixth GLVC title in seven years
  • Both teams come into this game on 8-game winning streaks...This is the first 8-game winning streak for the Chargers since 1992 and the first time they are 9-1 through 10 games since 1988
  • In last year's meeting, the Greyhounds took a 23-0 lead early in the second quarter...The Chargers rallied back to tie the game at 38 early in the fourth quarter, only to see UIndy pull out a win with a 93-yard interception return for touchdown with 2:55 to go
  • Even though these two teams occupy different regions, it does count as a regional game for both teams...This is due to the NCAA's "border state" provision, which means two teams from different regions, but located in states that border one another, would have that game count towards their regional record
  • The NCAA Division II football playoff show will be broadcast on on Sunday, November 11
  • In that game, senior QB Chance Stewart set a single-game school record with 485 passing yards, and senior WR Trey Brock set a single-game school record with 302 receiving yards
  • Hillsdale set a single-game school record with 650 total yards of offense in that matchup, only to break that record one week later with 659 versus Kentucky Wesleyan
  • Stewart needs 329 passing yards to pass Troy Weatherhead for number 1 on Hillsdale's career passing yards list
  • The lone loss for both teams came on the road versus GLIAC opponents - Hillsdale lost to Michigan Tech 31-30 in overtime Sept. 8, while the Greyhounds lost to #8 Grand Valley State 30-7 in Week 1
  • With the exception of 2010-12, these teams have met every year since 1988...The Chargers lead the all-time series 16-15
