The Hillsdale College women's cross country team spaced out its finishes effectively on its way to a third-place finish at the UW-Parkside Rosa Invitational Saturday in Wisconsin.
The Chargers had 146 team points, slightly ahead of Division I University of Chicago. Northwestern won the meet with 57 points, followed by Marquette, making the Chargers the top-finishing Division II team in the 25-team field.
Sophomore Kristina Galat was the team's fastest runner, finishing the 5K course in 18:20.4. Newcomer Molly Oren ran her best race as a Charger, finishing second on the team and 24th overall in 18:32.3 Her sister Emily Oren wadn't far behind, taking 30th with a time of 18:38.
