Meet Results

The first-ever college track meet at the Margot V. Biermann Center was highlighted by several first-place finishes by the host Chargers.

The Hillsdale Winter Opener took place with a handful of teams competing against the Chargers in their new digs.

Sophomore Corinne Zehner was one of the team's best performers, winning the 400 hurles with a time of 1:05.45. Rachel Warner outdistanced the competition in the 5K, in 20:32.49.

Freshman Madison Estell walked away victorious in the triple jump, clearing 33 feet, 9 1/4 inches. Fellow rookie Allison Duber was second in the 200, while sophomore Danielle Gagne took third in the long jump.

Two prominent alums also returned to compete at the meet. Kayla Caldwell, a former national runner-up in the pole vault, won that event, while three-time national champion Amanda (Putt) Eccleston took part in distance events.
