2011-12: Completed her junior year with personal best times in the 1000 Freestyle, 1650 Freestyle, and 200 Backstroke…Posted a school 6th best time in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:13.58…Placed 19th in the 1650 Freestyle at the GLIAC Championships…Achieved All-Academic Honors.
2010-11: Emily’s highlights include swimming lifetime best times at the GLIAC meet in the 1000 yd free in 11:16.09 and500 free in 5:29.18 events. She had a season best time in the 200 back. She also received GLIAC All Academic honors for thesecond season in a row.
2009-10: Had a strong first season as a Charger…She took 5th in the 100 back with a time of 1:06.20 at the UIndy tri-meet…Was a member of the 800 free relay that took 7th at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Invite…Also swam a 5:39.03 500 free at the Stevens Point Invite…At the GLIAC Championships she turned in a season-best time in the 200 back with a time of 2:17.59, and swam a 2:00.11 200 free.
High School: Four-time team MVP at Bay City John Glenn High School, Peltier was named Second-Team All-State in the 200 freestyle event as a senior in 2008-09...Holds pool records in two events, and has a career-best time of 2:00.10 in the 200 free event...Also earned First-Team All-Conference honors in four events through all four years of her career with the Bobcats...John Glenn won the conference championship in each season of her career, and the Bobcats never lost a dual meet while she was on the team...Was also a member of the Student Senate for four years, and was part of the National Honor Society for two years...Born June 27th, 1991...Parents are Jeffrey and Susan...Is a Biochemistry major...Member of Athletes in Action.
