WEEKEND OVERVIEW: The Chargers play three of their next four games at home as the regular season winds down, and the G-MAC race is still a muddled mess...Six teams have between 11-13 conference wins, though the Chargers can provide some certainty for their future...With one win this weekend they will clinch a spot in the G-MAC Tournament, which would be the program's first postseason appearance since 2015...Hillsdale sits a half-game behind Walsh for the fifth-place spot in the conference standings...Thursday's opponent, Ursuline, is tied with Cedarville for first place in the conference, and those two teams sit a half-game ahead of Findlay...Senior center Allie Dittmer is just 41 points shy of the program's 1,000-point club...She has averaged 16.3 points per game over her last three games, highlighted by a 21-point outing Saturday at Malone...If Hillsdale wins three games the rest of the season, it will exceed 15 wins in a season for the first time since 2010-11...Lake Erie's 71-64 win over the Chargers on Jan. 4 snapped a five-game winning streak in the series by Hillsdale, and was the Storm's first win over the Chargers since Jan. 23, 2014...Hillsdale's win at Ursuline Jan. 6 might have been the team's best game of the season...Hillsdale scored 49 first-half points in that contest, were plus-18 on the boards and handed the Arrows their most lopsided loss of the season...Ursuline's Laney Lewis will be a player to watch...She has recorded three triple doubles on the season, which leads all of NCAA Division II.

WEEKEND OVERVIEW: The Chargers are coming off a weekend they'd like to forget...They lost at the buzzer to Walsh last Thursday, then allowed 77 points in a nine-point loss at Malone, the first set of back-to-back losses for the Chargers this season...The team will have had a week off from games heading into Saturday's matchup with the Storm...The Chargers still sit in second place in the G-MAC, a half-game in front of Walsh entering play this week, and keep in mind, it's not like losing to Walsh and Malone - the G-MAC's number three and four teams - is like losing to teams well below .500...Hillsdale still has the G-MAC's stingiest defense, allowing a conference-low 64 points per game, and it's .408 opponents' field goal percentate is best in the league...After Saturday's game, two of Hillsdale's last three regular season games will be on the road, with only the Feb. 17 home date with Ohio Valley remaining to be played at Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena.
