Hillsdale College softball coach Joe Abraham is thrilled to announce the signing of eight players who will join the program starting with the 2018-19 school year.

Joining Hillsdale College next year are: Renee Bielawa (Downers Grove, IL), Anna Dixon (Farmington Hills, MI), Bri Robeson (Hartland, MI), Morgan Cox (Columbus, OH), Elaine Townely (Carnation, WA), Kasidy Carson (Lake Orion, MI), Camryn Olson (Cincinnati, OH), and Lauren Renner (Hilliard, OH).

Abraham said this class mirrors other recent classes in that it has a great combination of talent, character and work ethic.

"This is a typical class for us in that in combines athleticism, speed, a top pitcher, some excellent hitters and great character," Abraham said.  "We always get top-notch students, but the character part has allowed us to create the type of culture where our players thrive as athletes and students and for them to be able to really enjoy their time in the program.

"I just got back from our annual college coaches' convention in Las Vegas and heard from Washington people how much we're going to love Elaine Townley's work ethic, from Illinois people about how great of a girl and worker Renee Bielawa is.  Every time we're out somewhere we hear from travel coaches and others about our Michigan and Ohio recruits in this class and how much we're going to love them."
