There's no question one of the most improved teams in all of NCAA Division II men's tennis is the Hillsdale College Chargers.
The team wrapped up an excellent regular season with a 6-3 win at home Friday afternoon over the University of Findlay. Hillsdale's postseason opponent is not known yet, but it finished with a 12-8 overall mark and 5-4 in the GLIAC.
The 12 wins doubles the six won by the team in its first season of competition in 2015-16.
The Chargers won twice in the doubles flights and won Nos. 2-5 singles.
Dugan Delp and John Ciraci were each double winners, teaming up for a 9-7 win at No. 2 singles. Delp was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at No. 4 singles, and Ciraci shut out his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Milan Mirkovic has been rolling past the competition at the No. 3 singles flight of late, and Friday's win was no different. He triumphed 6-1, 6-0 after teaming up with Julien Clouette for an 8-0 shutout win at No. 3 doubles.
Freshman Charlie Adams picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to wrap up the winners for the Chargers on this Good Friday.
