The Charger men's golf team continued its season Monday and Tuesday, placing 18th at the Findlay Spring Invite, held at the University Club of Kentucky at Lexington, Kentucky.
The team moved up two spots from its first-round performance, when it stood at 20th.
The University of Indianapolis won the event with a team score of 574. Grand Valley State and Maryville tied for second, each scoring a 590 in the two-round event.
Hillsdale finished with a team score of 629. On Monday's first round, only two players - Henry Hitt and Ryan Zetwick - broke 80, leading the team with a 77. But in Tuesday's second round, all five players shot 80 or lower.
Ztwick finished tied for 38th overall and led the team with a 153. He shot a 78 Monday and came back with a 75 Tuesday.
Henry Hitt shot a team-best 77 on Monday and finished the event with a 157, second on the team. Joe Torres shot an 82-77--159, as he improved on his first-round performance. Andy Grayson was fourth on the team with a 161 and Logan Kauffman ended his rounds with a 163, taking five shots off his round-two score form his first round.
