OVERVIEW: The Hillsdale College football team has an opportunity to end the 2017 season on a four-game winning streak with its game at Lake Erie College Saturday afternoon...If the Chargers win, it would mark the second time in three years they have ended a season with four straight wins, something it also did in 2015...A win would also give Hillsdale a 7-4 record, its best since 2012...Hillsdale comes into the game with teh G-MAC's No. 2 scoring defense and No. 3 scoring offense, while the Storm rank eighth in scoring and sixth in points allowed per game...The Chargers have scored 42 or more points in four of the five all-time meetings between these teams...The first three contests between these were close, with the Chargers winning those games by five, nine and seven points...However, over the past two years, Hillsdale has outscored Lake Erie 94-39...This is the first meeting between these teams in Painesville since Sept. 13, 2014...Junior WR Trey Brock needs 136 receiving yards to break Andre Holmes' career record for receiving yards, and has a chance to set that record in just three seasons...Brock is 209 yards shy of Holmes' single-season receiving yards record...Junior QB Chance Stewart is also climbing some historical charts in the Charger football program...His 2,549 passing yards this season are sixth-most in school history, and his 6,314 career passing yards places him fourth in Hillsdale's record books.
