2009: Slated to become the Chargers’ starting running back in 2010…Made big impact on offense and special teams as a true freshman, finishing second on the team in rushing yards (166), while playing on most special teams units…Named the GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week Nov. 2 after blocking a punt and scoring a touchdown in 59-14 romp over Ferris State Oct. 31…Rushed for a career-high 43 yards against the Bulldogs and had a rushing touchdown in that game…Made 14 total tackles on special teams…Named the team’s special teams player of the week after the 27-24 win over Grand Valley State Oct. 10…Earned the team’s big stick award in back-to-back games, at Ashland and Findlay, and earned the award after the win over Tiffin…One of the team’s One-Play Warriors.
